Summer is right around the corner, and with all the kids out of school and having fun it’s hard to know what snacks your kids are eating or if what they’re eating is good for their teeth. Kids are notoriously finicky eaters so it can be difficult to find snacks that are both healthy for your child, and that your child wants to eat. Here are some healthy summer snacks that are easy to make and even easier to enjoy.
Teddy Bear Toast
This snack is so adorable it’s un-bear-able! All it requires is:
- Whole Grain Toast
- Peanut Butter
The whole grain toast is full of fiber and has many vitamins and minerals for healthy teeth and gums. The peanut butter has elements like calcium and phosphorus which are essential in fighting tooth decay. You can also swap out the blueberries for any other antioxidant-packed foods, such as grapes or raisins.

Snail On A Log
Another cute creation, the Snail On A Log is an upgrade from the classic Ants On A Log (which is also a great snack for teeth).
All it requires is:
- Peanut Butter
- Whole Grain Pretzels
Apples act as a natural toothbrush and are packed with vital nutrients and vitamins. Celery, like other crunchy, juicy vegetables, has a high water content. This helps to offset the sugar content in other snacks or foods your child may be eating.
